Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 4 Door Sedan

You are bidding on a 1957 Chevy 210 4dr.

It has a 3speed manual trans on the tree. Interior in excellent condition.

Recent work includes the following:

New muffler.

New brake shoes, drums, cylinders, and lines

New brake master cylinder.

New shocks

Steering gearbox has a slight leak and could use a rebuild.

Paint condition is original color, but has been resprayed at least once in its lifetime. Color is turquoise with white top.

New tires all around.

Car is in maintained original condition, but has NOT been fully restored. It is a daily driver, and we have the original engine that will also come with the car, however you may find some minor issues along issues along the way to update.

UPDATE: I got the following question, and it didn't automatically post to the listing, but I figured this info may benefit someone else as well:

I see from your photo that the mileage 91102, that the one next to the zero is not inline with the ninety one. Are the numbers out of line from the factory?
I remember back in 1961 a dealer said that was from the speedo going around at least one time. Thank you for more info. E

I honestly have no idea. I believe it is a one or two owner car, but we're not 100% sure as there are no records. We can try to get a hold of the lady we got it from and see what we can find out.
It does have the original engine that was running that comes with it, but the original block had a crack in it on the left side. While it ran ok, it looked like someone had tried to weld the crack, but poorly, and last year it started leaking so we pulled it. The original head is still on the replacement block and HAS been rebuilt.
As for odometer, we don't know anything about a factory misalignment, but as far as we know these are original miles. When we bought it, it had 83000 on it, and we've put the difference on there.
