Description of 1967 Chevrolet C-10 |
Up for sale is my 67' Chevy C10.The truck isan awesome rwd, swb,Fleetside powerhouse!I purchased this truck three years ago from the original owner out of the San Jose area of California. This has been a great truck and a really fun project I've tinkered with on and off between customer projects. The majority of the work was completed last fall, and has about 200 miles on it since completion, andbefore storing for the winter months. I have far more invested in this truck than my buy it now price not including any labor and the reserve is even lower! This truck is a very reliable daily driver or shop truck with awesome patina that turns a lot of heads, andgets great compliments as is. That being said itwould alsomake a fantastic candidate for restoration. As you cantell form the pics andit being fromCalifornia it is really a killer truck. In fact I would love to keepher to restore myself, but with the purchase of a new shop coming it needs a new home! The 500hp 383ci fires right up and sounds radical as hell with the lumpy COMP cam, but remains very drivable with the five speed, and hasnever got over 180 deg. Even in stopand go car show traffic in 95 deg. weather with pump gas.The only thing out of the ordinary I would like to share about the truck, is currently the speedo is not working. There is a $350.00 module required for the modern transmission to convert the signal to the original gauges that I will install if the truck is purchased atthe Buy it now price only. I havealways used an app on my phone foran accurate speedo.I will also include the original inline 6cyl engine, 3spd manual and all original parts removedat the buy it now price if desired. Please see the list of parts and work completed August of 16' below. The truckis currently located in Clymer, NY ( The far west corner of New York State, near Erie, Pa.) The buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements, but I will be happy to assist in any way necessary. I will be in Mexico on vacation for most of the auction duration, but please feel free to ask any questions you have through eBay or emailas I will be checking both daily. Happy bidding and good luck!! Parts/Work completed Aug. 16' Engine/Drivetrain: SBC 383 V8, 512hp/507tq on race fuel, 489 hp/482tq on pump gas! Misc: New 7" LED headlights ( work great and look awesome) New rear roll pan All new mandrel bent 3"exhaust that sounds bas ass with the cam Body: As I said in the description above I purchased this truck from the original owner. He did have the truck painted some years ago and itlooks great rolling down the road and offers great patina when sitting at the show. The painthas scratches dings and dents that give it great characterand is far from perfect, butdepending on your style rock it as is like I have or this one is a beautifully solid candidate to make a fullon show truck out of.All the body panels are straight and in excellent shape for theoriginal condition of the truck.Theunderside still has theoriginal factory undercoat on it.The only rust this truck has is a small amount on the left and right rocker at the pinch weld ( hasn'tgot into the floor), small amount on theright drip rail behind door (not into the roof), anda very repairablehole about the size of a creditcard in the front right fender below the battery box (typical). Please ask for pics of all of it, will be happy to share. All of which can be easilyhandled even by a weekendwarrior. I cant express enough how much potential this survivor has! Truly in great condition! |
