Up for sale is a 1940 Chevy Truck stretched wheelbase 135" aka Bobber. This is a new build with approximately 200 miles on it...It rides rough, its loud and it terrifies old ladies, what else could you want in a Rat Rod. Truck is powered by a new SBC 383, Eagle rotating assembly with Speed Pro flat top pistons, Solid lift cam 300 duration, .540 lift. Tunnel ram with dual 450 Holley Carbs. World products sportsman heads, MSD Distributor, and Summit racing ignition box, engine is backed by a 350 Turbo transmission and a 3500 converter. Rear end is a 10 bolt chevy with 383 gears, Eaton Posi, and Moser Axles, all 28 spline. Custom 2X3 tube chassis, all suspension parts were purchased new from Speedway Motors. New axle, and springs in front. All brakes are new, Disk in front and drum in rear. New radiator, Master cylinder and brake lines. Rims are old school American Racing rims, Tires are good. This thing turns heads everywhere you go. Sounds Awesome and is quick, it was built to drive and enjoy, head lights and tail lights work. It has NO Heat or Air, turn signals consist of sticking your arm out the window, no cozy comforts, it is just a crude old hot rod. It is registered as a 1940 Chevrolet, not as a custom car or kit car like others that you see. I have a clean clear open Tennessee TItle, I also have the hood and hood sides to go with it, it just looks too cool with the tunnel ram to put the hood on. I need the winning bidder to pay a $500 non refundable deposit through Paypal at auctions end and remainder to be paid in Cash at pickup or bank transfer which must clear prior to pickup. If you need this shipped, all arrangements must be made by you and again payment must be cleared before the vehicle leaves my premises. If you need permission to buy then get the permission before bidding, your bid is a contract and a binding deal so if you don't have the funds to finish the deal then please don't bid. That is about it, if you have any questions, just ask. I have attached a video of the vehicle running so check it out as well.
