Here is a nice 65 Chevy short stepside. It has a 292 six cylinder and 4 speed transmission .It runs good .Here's what I know about it : I got it as a cab and chassis and put the bed on from a trailer I had, it is a correct year bed.I put new wood in the bed but 2 boards cracke, I think due to not being dry enough when I did the job.The truck run, drive, and stops good.It had been sitting for 3 years so I drained the tan, put fresh gas with Stabil, new oil and filter, etc. .I put on a new fuel pump and a glove box. The dash and doors are uncut. Has the Custom Cab stainless trim .Still has the readable build sheet behind the seat showing Marron andwhite pain, posi rear end, trim pkg., 292, 4 spd.built in Fremont Ca. and still has original black Ca. plates. Here's what I think about it: Supposedly 2 owner only before me.Does not appear to have been abused.Doors close very easy, windows work good as do the wing vents. Motor looks like it was rebuilt it runs as strong as any 292 I've driven.Starter looks new .Radiator looks newer.Paint I think is Original on the cab. Brakes look and feel all redone.I think everything works on it .Has some rust in the usual places,at the bottom of the front fenders, the passenger rocker panel, and the footwell where it starts to go up on both side, the rest of the floor is very good .I tried to show these areas in the pics.Everywhere else is very solid on the cab .The last six pics show the footwell rus, the floors from underneath, and cab mounts. The bed has a small spot on the bedside where the fender bolts on .Overall a very nice truck to restore or buff it up and drive it as it is.No reserve.Buyer to arrange shipping I will help load at my easily accessable spot.
