I have a Great looking and running Grey/Black 1988 Chevrolet Corsica with 62,200 original miles and the economical 2.0L 122cid L4 engine.Interior is black cherry red cloth. Exterior paint is fading and worn on roof, hood and trunk, but holding up its shine on the right and left side panels and fenders, with red pinstripe detail. The car is solid and amazingly rust free for a New York car of this age with all glass intact. Owned for over twenty-five years by an elderly couple who were the second owners, and have records showing the purchase from Hertz after a year of fleet service, as this iconic vehicle entered market introduction. Owner's manual and services records are included. I bought the car 2 years ago in Queens, NY and this car was built in New Jersey. It has an exterior antenna and the Original Delco AM/FM Radio with digital tuner display and clock. Everything works except the AC which never has been converted or recharged. The heat is nice and warm, and the rear defroster, dome light, and in-column shift with automatic transmission are working great. The car was built before driver side airbags were standard equipment. Seat belts only. Real glass headlight lenses, so never oxidizes. New tires with not more 10,000 miles on them mounted on steel 13" wheels, with 42 slot factory hubcaps. Needs Shocks,Front Brake pads, and cam gasket leaks some oil. Hood is bent and need to use vice-grips when opening hood latch. Headliner held in place with pins. Car runs and drives great. Put on the oldies station, roll down the windows, and relive the late eighties in this classic American made four door sedan. Thank you. Please email with questions. Clear NY title. |
