Up for sale is a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 4spd. I have no paperwork proving this is a real SS but it is a Kansas built car with an L on trim tag and it also has correct big block steering shaft. Engine is a 1971 396 CLB code engine. This is a stock motor and came from a 1971 Chevelle with 300 hp. It runs very well. Transmission is a muncie M20 4spd and shifts very smooth. Rearend is a 10 bolt with around a 3.08 gear ratio. Exhaust is New Flowmasters and 3" tail pipes. Lots of new parts brake booster and master cylinder, Stearing box, Shocks and front coil springs. Body of the car is very clean and straight. Car was from Arkansas originally. Paint is very nice but has been driven so it has a few very small blemishes but overall is in excellent condition. This was originally an Air conditioned car and I have the compressor for it. Im sure the system will need some work to get going if you are interested in having A/C.
