This is a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 138 convertible. This is not a numbers matching car. It is a date-correct 1966 396 motor, correct for the year and model. Numbers and pictures of this are available at request. The M21 transmission and 373 Eaton rear are original, just redone. There are disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. It is a non-power steering car and does not have power brakes, just the way it was originally. It is a 375 HP motor. It has a dual plane aluminum intake. The original color of the car was burgundy with black top and black interior. It is a body-off restoration. Every nut and bolt was changed. There is a custom, completely new, TMI interior, with new panels, carpeting, top, pistons, controls, line sets, electrical and everything on and around the car is new.It has stock cast manifolds and stock dual 2-1/2" exhaust. The 4-speed shifter is a competition plus - it is not the original shifter to the car. The radiator is original. There is a clutch cooling fan. The convertible frame was completely disassembled, rebuilt, refinished and put back together before the top was put on. All hardware was replaced (latching and alike). There are Hurst wheels with Coker red stripe radial tires. This car has been driven approximately 30 test miles.
