Vehicle Summary:

Engine: Engine is a rebuilt 350 (0.30 over) that has around 30K on it, casting number is GM14010207 w/ 4 bolt mains (80 – 85 production for cars and trucks).Pulls nice and runs good. It has an Edlebrock Air Gap intake and Edlebrock Performer carb on it, PN: 1406 (600 CFM).It could use a proper tune as I never got around to really spending the proper time to do it. I will update with cam, head, piston, rod specs and receipts. In the meantime, please see videos below to see / hear it run.

Transmission: The transmission is a TH350 that was rebuilt around the same time as the engine and has roughly 30K on it. It was completely overhauled using a performance B&M rebuild kit (all clutches, bands, etc.). It is hooked up to a B&M Pro stick which allows for completely manual shifting if you want, has reverse lock out, neutral safety switch, etc. Driveshaft is stock and the universal joints were replaced when the car was purchased.

Exhaust & Fuel: Stock manifolds to Magnaflow mufflers and 2” exhaust pipes that terminate just before the rear end. Fuel system is stock, gas pump and float in the gas tank are relatively new.

Suspension and Brakes: Front suspension was disassembled, sand blasted, boxed, painted and was completely rebuilt with polyurethane components from Energy Suspension. Front Disc brake kit from Stainless Steel Brakes Corp. via Summit and everything (all lines (hard & soft), Master Cylinder, Rotors, hardware, etc.) were replaced with new parts. An inline adjustable proportioning valve was installed as well. The rear brakes are drum and were completely rebuilt at the same time. The front spindles are Fatman Fabrication drop spindles which lower the car about 2 inches and are help reduce bump steer associated with the stock suspension geometry/spindles. Steering box is a manual Saginaw unit that was purchased during suspension rebuild. The coil springs in the front are Moog “heavy duty” (replacements intended for the 1st Gen. sport model w/ 327 in 64/65) and have very few miles on them. Up front is a large diameter sway bar (1.25 inches I believe) of unknown origin. I can’t remember the brand of the rear coil springs, but they lower the car 1~1.5 inches, Eibach sounds correct, but not 100% on this. Rear Upper trailing arms are Tubular adjustable Edelbrock (PN5248) with spherical ball ends and greasable poly bushings. The lower trailing arms have been boxed and have polyurethane bushings installed, they are stock. The rear end is a stock 10 bolt w/o posi, I believe original to the car. All that was done to it was a gear oil change at time of purchase. Wheels are 15 X 7” or 8” Rally wheels in chrome with no trim rings or center caps. Tires BF Goodrich Radial TA with a decent amount of tread. Prospective buyer should note that as a result of the dropped spindles, the front wheels do rub on turns and offset front wheels should be mounted at some point. The car is driveable like this, but tight turns / U turns will likely require you to make a 3 point turn. Also, one of the tires has a very slow leak, FYI.

Body and Electrical: The car was purchased with its current paint job (a deep purple / blue) and I was told by the previous owner that is was a ~$3K paint job. It is a deep purple that takes on blueish tones in the sunlight, but is a very dark purple at night. The body is straight, I have tried to capture this in the pictures and video. There are small scratches / chipped paint at various spots on the car, I have taken many photos to capture everything, please see the Dropbox link as each picture is labeled, so you know where the imperfection is located. The areas around the rear wheel well lips exhibit bubbling under the paint as is common on these (please see pictures). The filler plate that extends out into the rear bumper also has bubbling under the paint. The car has been like this since I bought and it has not progressed, car has been covered in a garage since 2000 and rarely driven. Last, there were some small rust spots in the floor pans that were cut out (see pics) and replaced, but nothing major and the vast majority of the original floor pans are present.

Electrical: The car has the original wiring harness and all lights and gauges, etc. are in working order. The car also has two very stealth custom anti-theft features that will be disclosed to the buyer. In addition, there is an alarm system w/ keyless entry for the doors and pager function for the fob.

Frame: Body was removed and the frame stripped to metal, some sections were boxed/reinforced, old welds that I thought could have been done better at the factory were re-welded. Frame was then thoroughly cleaned w/ brakeclean, chemically etched, and painted with Hammerite, the finish is very durable like powder coating, but not as smooth. Polyurethane body bushings were also installed at this time.

Interior: A majority of the interior was redone in black with materials from The Paddock, Year One, etc. Front bucket seats are from a first or second gen Firebird and were redone (new foam, covers, etc.) rear seats were recovered and had new foam inserts. New headliner, carpet, arm rests, seat belts, and dash/gauge insert. The original gauges were restored. The car has an 87 Monte Carlo SS steering wheel and has hardly been driven since interior was done.

VIN Breakdown: 45637K2002606

Miscellaneous: Like so many gearheads before me, I had big plans for this car and I will be sad to see it driven off by its new owner, but it is an absolutely great car that turns heads and gets thumbs up everywhere I go. Perfect to drive as is (so long as the front wheel issue is addressed) or an ideal platform for an LS swap with a vast majority of the dirty work completed. If you have any more questions, concerns, etc. and are a serious buyer, please get in touch @ 650.296.2841 (Pacific Standard time).

Thank you.
