Up for grabs is my numbers matching, un-restored 1968 Corvette L36 427/390hp big block 4-speed car. It is a great driver and as close to a time-capsule of a car as you can get with a driver. The car is dead reliable and drives as you would expect a car to of its vintage. I never dropped the gas tank or tore apart the interior to look for a build sheet, but would imagine it is still in the car. The car even retains it's chalk markings from the assembly line in October of 1967. The 49 year old paint is in admirable condition for it's age and looks great from a distance, but definitely shows it's age up close. The car appears to have had an undercoating installed from the dealership and is rust free from it's many years in Texas and southern California. The interior is in great shape, with what appears to be original carpet and accurately replaced seat covers at some point in its life. All gauges and fiber optic light indicators work with exception of the clock. The only non-working items on the car are windshield wiper motor, interior lamps( due to door jamb switches), and the clock. Kelsey Hayes wheels are of the incorrect year (1969), windshield is not original, one mis-matched tire on front driver side (not pictured) and smog pump missing. All vacuum operated accessories work as well. This is a non-PB, non a/c, no frills big block piece of classic muscle. This is your chance to own a beautiful classic big block corvette as it left the factory decades ago. Message me for questions or more details. Car has been unofficially inspected by more than one former NCRS judge that have agreed with my description of this car.
