'51 3800 1 ton dually. bought new by my sister in law's grandpa for landscaping business.brought back to life to work some more. 1955 235 with fresh complete valve job includinghardened seats. runs perfect. no smoking, no weird noises. Engine has fenton headers, and dual pipes, and sounds like a Chevy 6 should.4 speed truck transmission and brand new clutch. Rear axle is out of a 95 ford power stroke dually,w/ 373 gears. very good tires, mounted on 17'' rims. Brakes gone thru and stops very good. It has the optional hydro-vac brake boost system. All new wiring, changed to 12v. It is lowered with front axle on top of the springs, and z'd and boxed rear frame rails. Drives and rides like a 1 ton truck. The body has its share of dents and dings, but nothing major. Some slight rust in the front lower cab by the fenders, cab corners are perfect.paint is original, I think, I just buffed it out.the seat could use a new cover, but it's very usable as is.this is just a fun old truck I built for cruising, hauling stuff around with, and enjoying.it's very reliable, and I drive it almost everyday.everything works, except the wipers, I planned on switching them to electric, but never did.questions? feel free to call....208-346-3955 Thanks!
