Up for auction is a 1932 Chevrolet 2 door sedan street rod. It belongs to a friend of mine who is a professional body man and has built many high end street rods through out his career. It is kind of hard to describe with so many modifications and custom features but i will give you a basic run down of what was told to me. The car is all steel has a 6 inch chop and a 3 inch channel. The rear wheel wells were raised 6 inches. The frame is a custom built boxed frame and a beautiful job was done. Hasparallel4 bar watts link suspension with an 8x8 ford explorer rear end 31 spline 327 posi traction. Has a super bell dropped front axle withuni steerrack and pinion steering. Has power disc brakes up front. Tires are 155-85 15 4 inch wide up front 285 70 15 10 inch wide on the rear. The wheels are similar to a halibrand style wheel. The body on the car is laser straight. A lot of attention to detail . Has suicide doors . One cool part is the rear tail lights cant be seen from the outside but when lights are used they show up nicely. Makes you think there behind a piece of glass. The car has many option features such as tilt telescopic steering wheel, ac, cruise control, stereowith blue tooth, power windows, electric door openings and over head console. VDO gauge, everything works. The only thing that needs attention is the e brake needs a set of rear cables as the ones he has are to short. Has smoked glass all aroun, Has a nice set of Jaguar bucket seats. Has a set of gear drive headers that you can uncap . Exhaust system has turbo mufflers The running gear is a freshly built mid 70'sLincoln460 V-8 with edelbrock intake . Transmission is C-6. He prefers the Ford running gear in all his rods because of dependability. Has alum radiator . I am sure there is more details that could be mentioned but you get the idea. The car runs drives andhandles. It has been in numerous magazines and has won many awards. He has driven this to various shows in N, Pa, Ohio, V, Mass and Florida to the good guys event. You can get in this car and drive it home. Thisparticularvehicle was a 3 year build . Countless man hours and time to build the car to his satisfaction. If you are a street rod builder you know the score. He wants to help fund 2 more on going rod projects so this one is going up for sale. The reserve price is a mere fraction of what he has invested so someone is going to get one heck of a buy.
