This is a rare and hard to find first year 1959 El Camino. It needs a total restoration or would make a great rat rod.No motor,No transmission, was originally a V-8,3 speed std. on the column, red with a white top.It needs floors and lower quarters. The inner rocker panels and floor braces all look solid. Most of the chrome appears to be there, looks like three sets of side moldings.Has good windshield and back window, door windows are both cracked. The bottoms of the doors are solid and they open and close good. The frame has a couple of bad spots behind the rear end,the passengers side only has a small hole on the bottom, the drivers side has a small hole also and a bigger one where the frame is arched and straightens out.(SEE PICTURES).The rest of the frame from the rear end forward is solid, and the only bad spots are the ones pictured behind the rear end.I had a professional welder look at it and he said he could fix it for $300.The VIN and trim are tags are on the car and it has transferable paperwork. It has 14" torque thrust wheels with new center caps.Tires are shot but do hold air,car rolls easily but has no brakes. It will need to be trailered.Buyer is responsible for pick up.$500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours after auction ends, the rest due in cash within 7 days.U.S. BUYERS ONLY,NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS.
