Description of 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split window stingray |
What you are viewing here is the real deal! In 1963 there were 10. 94 corvette split windows made. This is #53 manufactured on the second day of production. It is also the 92nd corvette made that day. This corvette is a true American icon. Everything on this corvette is 99% original. The only changes made were as follows. It was painted a dark brown in 1974. I had the car put back to its original ermine white in February 2014. The fan is a seven blade 1964 which folks would change back then to get better cooling instead of 5 blade fan. I had it professionally stripped back down to its rare white fiberglass and painted at GM dealership. All bonding strips intact. I also replaced carpeting and tail light lenses. till have originals as they were pitted. The rest of the interior is completely original. Everything on this corvette works as it should including clock and wonderbar AM radio. All numbers match inside and out. This vehicle has spent many years in storage and has all the historical documentation to go along with it including letter from GM. I also have original carb w/tag. True collector's dream. $2000 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of completion of auction. Delivery is buyer's responsibility and payment in full is due when car is picked up (must be within 7 days of purchase) and by US certified funds or wire transfer. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Note: The definition of original is continually being torn apart and questioned. It is quite apparent that this vehicle is 51 years old and I'm sure it was maintained properly and parts inherently have been replaced . I have the vehicles complete history. The car was not hermetically sealed in a glass bubble. See GM letter dated 1975. As you can see this is the 92nd corvette and the 53rd split window made on the second day of production. There aren't many of these cars left . . especially with such a low production number. nor has it been restored with a bunch of aftermarket parts. Its all there folks. The engine serial number matches VIN as well. Just wanted to clarify. Someone for sure will be very appreciative to own it. I also have original wheels and hub caps. Please feel free to contact me with legitimate questions. Serious inquiries only will be answered. |
