Description of 1951 Chevrolet Suburban |
For sale is a 1951 Chevy Suburban Project. I have a clean Louisiana Title in my name for the truck. It has a solid body with all body parts to put back together. I have extra rear doors, front fenders, rear fenders, hood, and the grill. The rear plywood floor was replaced with a new bed floor from an 80's C-10. The firewall was replaced with a Bitchin' Firewall. The front axle was removed and replaced with a Corvette C4 crossmember from Flat Out Engineering. It uses the upper and lower control arms from a C4, brakes and rotors, and rack and pinion. The front suspension is set up for shockwaves. There are dirty dingo mounts for the 2001 5.3/4L60E, it has the wiring but will need the computer or swapped to a carb. I also have a driveshaft from the Tahoe that the engine was pulled from, it will just need to be shortened to fit. The rear end is from a 80's 4x4 S-10 and there is a four link with sleeve bags for the rear, and the frame was notched. It has seats and brackets from a dodge D-50 and ram charger for the second and third row. They will need to be recovered. There is a gas tank from a early 90's blazer with a high pressure fuel pump for the LS engine and fuel lines were run and pressure tested. Brake lines are run from rear but will need to be connected to the master cylinder. The front brake lines will still need to be run. I wish I could finish it but priorities change. Any questions please ask. |
