Description of 1990 Chevrolet Corvette Calloway with Aerobody Kit |
You are bidding on a beautiful 6-speed 1990 Callaway Twin-Turbo Corvette Convertible with aerobody kit and upgraded Wonderbar. The car's white exterior is set off by its red interior and soft top. It has 29429 miles and has been housed in climate controlled storage. This car has been owned by Rick Hamilton, former NFL player on for the Washington Redskins and the New York Jets. This car is one of 16 Callaway Corvette Convertibles with the aerobody kit. The Callaway Twin Turbo package was an actual RPO (Regular Production Option) from GM with the code B2K. Corvettes with the Callaway package were outfitted by Callaway and returned to GM to be sold as a factory car with the B2K option. This made the price over $100,000 - the most expensive US factory production car in history at that time. During those five years, fewer than 500 Callaway Twin Turbos were produced. The engine on this car is a twin turbo L98 5.7L V8 which offers 390HP and 562ft-lbs of torque at 10lbs of boost. It can reach 190MPH and can do a quarter-mile in 12.8 seconds. It also boasts Dymag wheels. This corvette is all original with the exception of tires. This is a great addition to Corvette collection. |
