I was originally planning to resto mod this car but have since bought another SS 396 4 spd car so i no longer have a need for this one. this car is an original numbers matching 1970 Chevelle malibu factory ac, power steering and front disk brakes with a 355 and a th350 transmission. the car was put together as an SS tribute car and looks and shows great. the 350 engine was torn down and rebuilt, bored over, reringed, new cam, crank, and rod bearings. it's now a 355 with a 600cfm holley carb, longtube headers with dual exhaust and period correct glasspack mufflers, an edlebrock performer intake, and a very mild comp cams hydraulic flat tappet cam, the engine runs great and starts right up without hesitation. the trans was pulled and rebuilt to factory specs. when the car was being built there was no rust or rot on it and the paint and body work shows that with all original panels. the car is very straight and very little body work was needed before the car was painted. over the last month the car has received brand new powerstop drilled and slotted front rotors, pads, and calipers, rear powerstop drums, and shoes, plugs, wires, rotor, and cap, air filter, oil change, trans fluid flush, rear diff service, brake fluid flush, and a brand new set of rocket racing wheels with new hankook tires. the interior is a factory bench that is pretty much all brand new with asweep dash and columnshift. this car is a perfect driver that shows well and is alot of fun. just to put its condition into perspective this car was consigned by a good friend of mine at barrett jackson and i bought it. considering solid minimal rust cars that need complete resoration are going for around $8k-$10k i think my asking price of $26,500 OBRO is very reasonable especially with all the work that has gone into this car. i am open to reasonable offers but lowballers and dreamers will simply be ignored as i dont need to sell this car i would just rather use the money to put into my true ss car.i have a clean title in hand. the car will also come with the original buildsheet from 1970 if you have any questions or want more pictures feel free to ask as i have a bunch. i also reserve the right to end this auction at anytime due to the fact that the car is also for sale locally. the deposit for this car is non refundable so dont bid if you dont actually want the car. if the buyer wants the car shipped i will use reliable carriers and whatever they charge will be added to the cost of the car or the buyer can arrange their own shipping but i will not be responsible for any damage, fees or associated problems that arise from the buyer using their own shipping company.i will accept cash in person, bank check, or if paying through paypal the buyer will have to include the paypal fees in addition to what they owe for the car.
