For auction is a beautiful 40 year old Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup survivor. The pictures reveal the easy life this truck had with winters in southern Florida and summers in Michigan and always garaged when in Michigan. The truck has 68,816 original miles on it or, less than 1,725 miles per year for its entire life. This truck was bought solely to carry a slide on camper to Florida for the winters until the original owner became sick and it remained garaged and parked for several years. The owner ordered this truck new with helper springs for its already 3/4 springs to make sure there was no sag and there is none. The truck has a diamond plate step bumper that is original equipment as is everything else on the truck right down to the original floor mat.The 350 engine starts and runs smoothly and is very quiet. These engines were such a success for General Motors I honestly believe they quit making them because they were too good of a design and nearly never wore out. There are many 350's around with 300-400 thousand miles on them and they are still running strong. There is nothing mechanically wrong with this truck that I am aware of at all. There are two anomalies in the body paint that are not rust throughs. One is about a nickel size on the lower drivers door and looks like perhaps a stone chipped it at some point. The other is in front of the right rear wheel well that is just a small area that the paint seems rough but not rust.Since i have owned it I replaced a jumping speedometer cable, dried out rocker cover gaskets, and a transmission pan seal, and it now runs perfectly. You could literally drive this truck confidently to anywhere in the country. The square body's as this model is known is highly collectable and here is your chance to own a real beauty. Please note my positive feedback over hundreds of transactions and bid with confidence. Please ask any questions you might have.Seller reserves the right to end this auction early as the vehicle is for sale locally. Mileage may change as vehicle is used occasionally.
