Description of 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 210

1953 Chevy Custom
Chopped, decked, nosed, frenched, and lowered. Chop and bodywork was done very well with a clean rust free body in satin black paint. Radial whitewalls. Serape interior. Back window is good but no side windows and front windshield is lexan.
Original 216 with 3 speed on the column is extremely reliable and runs and drives great. Currently a daily driver. Tops out about 65 on the highway due to gearing but with overdrive or a new rear end it has plenty more in it. Dual exhaust. Still 6V but comes with a brand new 12 volt kit not yet installed.
Stored over the winter under a tarp. In heavy wind that tarp left somemarks on the car and the lexan windshield. Also there are two cracks where bondo will need repair, and there is no carpet.
We've strapped in the car seats and drove this car with my family in all kinds of weather to all kinds of places. It's a tank, never lets us down. Runs like a sewing machine.
Located in Hayden Colorado near Steamboat Springs. I can help with loading and meeting a shipper here but setting up and paying for shipping is the buyer'sresponsibility. Selling the car as-is. Ask all questions before bidding.
