When enthusiasts say "numbers matching ", this is actually one of those vehicles. All serial numbers, casting numbers and date codes are correct and in proper sequence to the build date (K3) or 3rd week of July, even bolt type, head markings and their finishes are correct. Options include; L84 fuel injected 360 horse power 327 engine, 4-speed close ratio M20 transmission, 3.36 ratio posi-traction differential, power brakes, power windows, AM/FM radio, auxiliary daytona blue hard top, (5) "driver" rally wheels with Goodyear radials in addition to the original date coded wheels, bias-ply tires and hub caps.
Please note that an NCRS Cincinnati Regional Top Flight award was received in September 2005 with a score of 97.7 out of 100, as well as Bloomington Gold Certification in June 2006. Less than 2000 miles have been put on the car since receiving these awards and it has been continually kept in a heated, air conditioned and humidity controlled environment when not at car shows or NCRS events. The only time this car was rained upon in the last 20 years was while sitting on a trailer returning home from the Bloomington Gold awards. Still a really nice car!
