POWER WAS A CRATE 327" 365HP, CARTER CARB. I DID'T ASK ABOUT THE ORIGINAL ENGINE, AT THAT TIME. ORIGINAL JACK AND SPARE TIRE COVER. OF COURSE I HAD IT PAINTED RED IN 74.WE TOOK IT APART AND OFF THE FRAME IN 76, FOR A TOTAL RESTORATION. 22 YEARS LATER, BUSINESS, FAMILY, RACING, LIFE, ETC. I DROVE IT AGAIN. BODY WAS STRIPPED, FIXED ONE SMALL SPOTBEHIND LEFT FRONTWHEEL WELL, ONLY HIT ON CAR. EPOXY PRIMED, SEALED, PAINTED BLACK LACQUER, AS ORIGINAL. ROYAL SILVER DID ALL THE SHOW CHROME. I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS A FACTORY FUEL CAR UNTIL I READ THE ARTICLE, FUELEY OR FOOLER. IT HAD ALL THE FI ONLY ITEMS. I HAVE PICTURESDOCUMENTING THAT BEFORE RESTO. I WANTED A LITTLE MORE CAM THAN THE 097, LIKE THE 1964-5 375HP. STILL HAS PLENTY OF VACUUMFOR CORRECT SIGNAL TO INJECTOR. MADE 365HP ON WALLEY'S DYNO.
