Old style 1986 Chevy Caprice Classic for Sale : AS IS ; AS FOUND. Not too many around anymore. I purchased this car over 22 years ago in Virginia and it passed car inspection there until I moved it to North Dakota in 1999. It has served me well and I'm hoping to find a new life for it to be either restored or parted out. One of my main goals is to keep it out of the crusher! It was a part of the family. The car was super powerful and raced Corvette and 300 SX and would throw you back in your seat when you hit the gas, did great burnouts and sometimes jumped a bit off the ground on an incline with some speed. Has duel exhaust and 4 barrel carbureto, new oil pump (oil sending unit) Plugs are good and has newer front tires. But over the years it has slowed down. It can still be fun to drive and cruise around in. As listed above it has some defects: Spray painted Black over many rust hole repairs patched with roofing tar & mes, pop can, back of a toy dump truck and has patched hole under driver's side floor mat with caulked down metal plate and fabric and floor-mats. back driver door held shut with a rope. Large amount of exhaust and may or may not start... usually starts with a lot of work. Misfires and has ticking sound in engine and accelerates slow. chips in windshield & small lower middle crack. inside light doesn't work and ac is long gone. some fabric tear of drivers seat and dash board damage. Inside roof liner stapled up. Duct tape helping hold loose driver's door arm rest. Large dents on driver's and passenger's side doors. Radio only sometimes works in warm weather. Front window does not roll down. windshield washer motor shot. Has rear main seal oil leak about 1 quart per 100 miles approx. Coolant leaks, transmission leaks. Most of the trim is ripped off. Rear tires worn.Fan still works and so does the heat. Lights and electrical are functional. Turn signals work. Has donut tire and jack and original owner's manual. Was fun to drive, and still is a unique car experience. Would be a great project car! Buyer payment required within 7 days of auction close and car must be picked up or towed. Cash, PayPal & checks accepted.
