Description of 1970 Chevrolet Corvette stingray

1970 corvette stingray sport "T-TOP" coupe. non matching number 350 "010 block"with muncie 4 speed transmission and posi traction rear end. 6000 RPM redline confirms that this vette originally had the L46 350/350 motor option. frame is straight and very soild. no rust thru!. body is very solid and complete. looks like some of the front end fiberglass was replaced with GM parts from a 69 vette. still has 69 front side marker lights and 69 grilles and bumperettes. left rear quarter. right front fender and left front fender have had some minor repair at some point. over all a very solid body. still has the complete wiper tray assembly. car was converted to 69 factory side exhaust at some point and they glassed the rear exhaust valance into the rear quarters. radiator support is very rusty and should be replaced. right door has after market sport mirror holes that will need to be filled during restoration. interior is complete with original shifter. pop our rear glass and storage tray. decent original door panels and original 70 seats recovered in black leather. car was originally blue on blue i think. nice top dash pad. car starts and runs very well but it has been sitting since 88 so no brakes. new battery just installed. left front tire will not hold air. great starting point for a C3 metal bumper restoration. car will need to be towed form va beach va. NOT ROAD READY!! not on the road since 88 so gas tank and fuel lines should be replaced. major tune-up. carb rebuild and brake job at a minimum. please do not assume anything. any questions not answered in the item description please call tom @ 757 575 8715. must be picked up in va beach va and must be paid in full withing 5 days of auctions end. thanks for looking.
