Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 18th year in the classic and muscle car business. Here's yet another gem from The Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic cars and trucks. It is not uncommon these days to see new pickup trucks at dealerships that cost $70k and have more features than a Cadillac. Fifty years ago this was not the case. Trucks were built to work hard for a price that wouldn't break the bank, meaning that they often didn't even have radios or heaters. Our sharp '65 Chevy Custom is notable for several reasons. This was the first year that Chevrolet offered air conditioning in their trucks, and this baby has a functioning system. If you don't believe that this is a rarity, go online and price the original parts. The center vents alone often cost $400! Under the hood rests the optional 292 ci I6 that was also used in Chevy's larger trucks, ensuring plenty of torque is available on demand. Additional options include an automatic transmission, AM radio, Factory gauge package in the dash, The Custom trim level which featured the Big Back Window, deluxe front to rear moldings, chrome front grill and bumpers, and the Z62 Custom Comfort Equipment package which has the nicest steering wheel I have ever seen in a pick up truck. This is a remarkably clean truck with some choice options that would get attention at any show or event. Street Dreams is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide shipping, insurance, and financing options. Trucks are hot in the market place and we are trying very hard to have our customers a nice variety of styles, prices and colors. This truck is nice not perfect so one can enjoy it for a classic or even use it for a truck (Imagine that?)
