Description of 1981 Chevrolet Camaro |
Up for sale is this beautiful 1981 Z28. Car is freshly frame-off restored with paint and body work that is truly exceptional. I am not a dealer. but a very passionate car collector and understand how much time. money and effort it takes to achieve paint like this. You will not find a nicer one. car is laser straight and has an incredible shine. I have had it to a few shows and gets a crowd every time over how nice it is. Car is very fast and drives like brand new off the showroom floor. What makes this Z28 really stand out from the crowd is a brand new LS3 crate engine professionally installed. It has a carb setup with Edelbrock intake and hidden MSD box that operates the ignition and has adjustable timing curves/rev limiter. Serpentine front drive accessories based on later model F-body. Aluminum radiator with dual SPAL fans. Engine runs perfect and sounds incredible through ceramic headers and a set of Flowmasters. All wiring is installed with the idea to keep engine bay as clean as possible. Mechanically everything is new. All new steering linkage. suspension/body mount bushings. brakes. lines. etc. Front end was lowered using Detroit Speed springs. This was needed due to the lighter powerplant. Car sits nice and even now. Brand new wheels and lugnuts. tires have very little wear. BFG Radial T/As all the way around. Interior of car is really. really nice. New carpet. seat covers and Procar bucket seats. Classic Car Audio Radio with matching 4 speaker system. Vintage Auto Air system that blows cold. All new weatherstripping throughout. T-tops dont leak! Dash is in great shape along with center console. Any questions can be answered. but here is a small list of things that could be improved. -Both door glasses need to be adjusted. Driver is a little stiff rolling up. passenger needs a tip-in to fit against rear of t-top. -Could use some aftermarket gauges for tach. oil and temperature. -Corner plastic trim pieces at t-top/a-pillar are kindy brittle. Painted and OK. but a better set would be nice. Car is for sale locally and auction may end early. Bidders with less than 10 feedback need to message me first. Possible trades accepted of Pre 73 model year vehicles. |
