Description of 1958 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

1958 Chevrolet Apache 3100 *COLD AC* tubular frame *injected SBC* 4 wheel disc

This tastefully done custom Chevy Apache was built in 2012 by well known hot rod shops in Central Texas. It has proven itself as a reliable truck that you can drive anywhere and rack up trophies along the way. Every detail has been thought out and well executed. The ride quality and driveability is better than any older pickup I’ve driven thanks in part to the four wheel independent suspension, four speed automatic and proper gearing.

EXTERIOR:

The extremely slick black paint looks great on a laser straight body. It is obvious that a lot of time and effort was spent on the body. The panels fit great and the doors and hood open and close with ease. All the chrome is fresh and presents itself very well. All window glass is new and the side and back glass are factory tinted. The one-piece door glass goes up and down via electric motors. All lights and blinkers work as they should. The Foose 17”/18” Nitro wheels and Toyo rubber round out the awesome look. The truck has been driven and enjoyed and there are a handful of very small rock chips that don’t take away from the truck’s wow factor. You really have to search for them once you’re familiar with the truck.

INTERIOR:

The custom leather and ostrich interior was tastefully done as well, and features aftermarket AC, custom built console and Cadillac bucket seats. The Dakota Digital gauges keep you informed with the exception of the fuel gauge that still needs to be calibrated. Lots of billet and chrome, including the chrome tilt steering column that makes getting in and out an easy proposition. The sound system is a Custom AutoSound stealth system with SiriusXM, USB and 4 speakers. The body work continued inside where the dash was filled and painted in the same slick Dupont black paint.

MECHANICAL:

The stuff under this truck is what really sets it apart from the other Apache trucks running up and down the road. It started with a custom tubular frame, Camaro front subframe and Corvette independent rear suspension. It was all powder coated or chromed for a really strong presentation. The Corvette tuned port injected small block Chevrolet, 700R4 transmission, power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes give this truck the reliability that will give you the confidence to drive this truck anywhere in any conditions. Custom exhaust, featuring Flowmaster mufflers, give the truck a mellow exhaust note that fits right in with its outward appearance. The Optima red top battery is tucked away in its aluminum housing and adds to the overall reliability.

This truck comes with tons of documentation on the build, including photos, receipts, manuals, etc. The Apache cost well over $50,000 to build and it is apparent when you look at the details. A cash sale is prefered, but a trade for a nice tri five Chevy or 1st generation Camaro might be possible.

Please don’t hesitate to call/text James at 9o3.821.4958 if you have any questions about the truck or would like specific photos. I have it advertised on a few other sites and will take this ad down without notice when it sells. Thanks for looking!!
