Remember Larry Watson’s “Grapevine”? Well that was the inspiration for this cool looking 1949 Chevy. With some differences…the doors have been suicided and I also installed an electric sunroof for a more Lowrider feel. The car has the stock 216 motor. I don’t believe it’s ever been rebuilt. But it does have a small oil leak. It runs and drives very good with plenty of power. Stock 3 speed column shift. 2 inch dropped uprights in the front. The rear end is also stock closed drive line with a custom 2 link suspension. The car has a 2 pump hydraulic setup, 2 batteries, rides great, not bouncy at all. The body work on the roof is ready for paint with one or 2 steps of wet sanding. The rockers need replacing and the rear wheel openings…these areas have body rust. No floor rust at all. The drive shaft tunnel needs to be put in. the car lays frame and has a big 4 inch step notch. I have all interior parts to complete. The interior is original, no tears but does have some water stains, I have most if not all parts missing in the photos. Thanks and please ask questions….Happy bidding. Also I can send more pictures thru email upon request and contact info. Winning bidder pays for all shipping and arrangement with shipper.
