Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala

Up for auction is our 64 Impala. This car was owned by an elderly man who purchased the car new right here in Denver. How often do you find a car that a person owned for 50 years. Not in the family for 50 years. but owned by one person for half a century! This car is still on its original title. We purchased the car earlier this year and put it in our collection of original low mileage survivors. We recently purchased a more expensive car. so we are now selling a few out of our collection. This car is truly 100% original and unrestored. It has never had any paint work. All of the paint is still very nice and shines well. There is no checking or cracking. but it does have a small crease on the right rear lower quarter panel. The trim is all very straight and nice. All of the plating is beautiful except the rear bumper has a small dent in it (see photos). Overall this car looks great from every angle. All of the glass is original and very nice. The four hubcaps are also original and perfect. The interior is also original. The seats are beautiful with no tears or stains and still have a nice firm feel. The steering wheel is perfect with no splits. the dash looks crisp showing no wear. All of the gauges are bright and work as expected. Even the cold light works! The CB radio is included. as it is just part of this cars' great story. In the glove box you will find the original owners manual and some original 1964 Denver street maps. The trunk shows very light wear and still retains its original jack. lug wrench and hardware. The engine compartment is also completely unrestored and has never seen spray paint. We carefully cleaned the engine and chassis uncovering many factory paint markings and inspection tags. Mechanically. this car runs and drives like a new 64 Chevrolet. No strange noises. leaks. squeaks or creeks. It's a pleasure to look at. but the real joy is driving this beauty. There might be lower mileage cars out there. but the way this car was cared for I cant imagine one driving any nicer.
