This auction is for my 1961 chevy apache deluxe 1/2 ton c-10 pickup. Ive owned many old chevrolet trucks and this is thee most solid best driving rust free cali desert truck ive ever owned, im not happy about selling it but i gotta pay the bills. Bought from the original owner who purchased it at security chevrolet in brea in 61, super rare big window deluxe trim,og v8 FACTORY automatic powerglide (85% of apaches had 3 on the tree or 4 on floor) ordered with all the deluxe options.it spent its whole life in the California desert as a low milieage rust free camping vehicle. This truck is straight,unmolested and solid with no rot or body work i can see! It has been well taken care of,It runs and drives amazingly and is in original stock condition aside from the toms axles system in the back .KA axles are an incredible addition as this truck cruises easily at 90-100 mph on the freeways.. Heres a list of some things the truck is equipped with: toms KA axle setup- All new exhaust with 12 & 18 inch glass packs- Awesome oxidized patina (old 2nd coat of white paint over the og brigade blue)- Nice full set of rare 2yr only 60-61 stainless deluxe trim!- Super rare og deluxe aluminum grill- Og deluxe bumper guards- Freshly rebuilt powerful 350- Super rare og 61 powerglide auto transmission- Uncut beautiful dash with og radio (radio works but cuts out often)- Og Deluxe steering wheel- Rare deluxe big window- windows are all good originals with Deluxe stainless window trim with brand new windshield rubber gasket- Og chrome bumpers- Lowered with jeep tj springs in back and torsion bar in front- All brakes are new just replaced two weeks ago- Comes with original California blackplates that came with vehicle- All original door locks same key - Og domelight works- Working og heater-original Dealer installed a.c. (Blows warm air -prolly needs frion)- Og Cig lighter works- New door rubber- Zero rust in floors- New door stops- Original floor rubber mats are still in nice shape- No rot anywere just minor surface (cab corners perfect)- New u joints- New Alternator- very nice set of lightly used remington poly 4 cushion air whitewalls, with a couple hundred miles on them if that,im sure i left out some work that was done as i have many reciepts for work done on this awesome truck.Some issues are: Left side tailight out, Blinker switch broke,Seat ok but needs redone more like stock fabric,speedo not hooked up Bedwood could use replacing at some point .As you can see by my feedback im an honest seller and i feel this is as thorough description i can give, photos dont do this truck justice!
