1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427 Coupe... sidepipe 4-speed car, This a collectors opportunity to get a 6-figure vehicle for a real value. This a rare chance to have the baddest vette "Last C2" in your collection affordably. Owner of 30 years had this car restored in it's original beautiful 977 code Lyndale blue which is a smokey metallic bluegray with a black stinger stripe and 427 hood. The car has Show quality paint. All mechanics and paint were completely brought back to new. All work performed with a professional body off restoration starting on a Rotisserie completed in 2005 and used rarely since. 4 wheel disc brakes with manual steering. Wood steering wheel. All glass is nice and goes up and down flawlessly. All frame and suspension components were either meticulously restored or replaced. The interior is black vinyl and perfect. Carpets in good shape and minimal wear. Headliner is nice, All interior lights (3) working order. All new shocks, springs, lines, wiring etc... Doors open and close beautiful as does the hood. Hidden lights go up and down as they should. All lights, gauges and switches look clear and function properly. A period correct Date coded 427 block was completely rebuilt to 427/390hp specs with appropriate intake and exhaust manifolds. The transmission is a muncie 4 speed with hurst shifter. A few modifications were added to makedriving this car that much more pleasurable. The wheels are brand new period correct rally wheels with short corvette caps and outer rings. The tires are also new F-70 Firestone redlines. The car looks amazing and runs well. Feel free to contact with any questions. Out-of-state buyers I can recommend a good shipping resource for the lower 48 or internationally. This car retains it's stock trim tag in the location under the glovebox. The car was purchased from the original owner over 29 years ago and was completely restored in 2005 and professionally appraised in 2010. All documentation comes with the vehicle. A 2 inch thick folder with all receipts for the restoration of the car, The acquisition and build of the 427 and numerous shops that did work to the car. Documentation shows the car was in Mass and retagged by the first owners due a recovery in the 80s. The car was then reissued the current VIN. The car has been registered like this for the last 30 years. Sold with a CT bill of sale and transferable reg. Other than this discrepancy the vehicle is the real deal. Similar cars like this sell for as much as 120k to 160k. The obviously has been accounted for in the value of the vehicle and is reflected in the professional appraisal that is included in with the car. The condition is as stated only has minor defects, a chip in the corner of the hood and a very hard-to-see spider crack on the hood about the size of a quarter.
