BEAUTIFUL FRAME-OFF 4X4 BLAZER RESTORATION
YOUTUBE.COM VIDEO...there is a brief video of the Blazer running on YouTube.com...just search: "Chevrolet Blazer 4X4 For Sale in Georgia" to see it! It is a real crowd-pleaser...winning a "Youth Choice" award and other trophies (Note: two are shown below...and will be kept by the owner as mementos of the time he spent restoring the Blazer with his son). Finally, the Blazer is handsome and presents itself well, but there is a bit of "patina" here and there that is detailed in the images...please be sure to view them all. LOCATION: Gainesville, GA...located approximately 55-miles northeast of Atlanta. EXCELLENT INVESTMENT - the Chevy Blazer is becoming a hot collectible. It is rare for one to be found with low miles and also with a single owner for 15 years. Among the range of modern-classic trucks, this Frame-off restored Blazer is likely poised for handsome appreciation in the future. THE FIRST 12 PICTURES will give you a general overview of this handsome Blazer, but if you are seriously interested...we suggest that you look at ALL 100+ images because we want you to see EVERYTHING. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING...TO SEE ALL THE IMAGES: There are over 100 images that will show the car in great detail. BUT, to see ALL of the images, you MUST place your cursor DIRECTLY ON an image...and then scroll gently ALL the way to the bottom (be sure to allow time for all the images to load). CAUTION: If you use the scroll bar to the FAR right of your screen - OR, the "Click to View Image Album" feature - you will NOT be able to see all the images! OPERATIONAL REPORT: This Blazer is lots of fun to drive, and gets "thumbs up" and admiring glances everywhere it goes. The A/C blows nice and cold. All exterior lights and the horn were tested/operational. It's ready to enjoy. (Note: Cruise control operation is untested). Most any truck of this vintage has a few quirks/faults...and the Blazer is no exception. We noted the following items (and there may be others that escaped our notice): Driver's side power window switches are reverse-wired (i.e. push down for up and vice versa), the sliding windows on the truck bed cover have lost their little handles and you must press on the window with your palm to slide them...the tracks could use cleaning/lubrication, the radio works - but there is no CB antenna and so that functionality could not be tested, the tailgate can be a bit "sticky" and needs a little "encouragement" to open, the key has broken-off inside the tailgate lock, and there is a cracked window on the bed cover on the driver's side (shown in an image below). ODOMETER NOTE...the mileage shown on the odometer is believed to be accurate, but due its design limitations, actual mileage cannot be warranted. PAYMENT DETAILS: Payment is due within 2- business days of auction's end via Bank to Bank wire transfer. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS are welcome, but MUST adhere to the SAME Payment Terms detailed above and also make all arrangements for the pick-up and importation of the Vehicle into the Buyer's country. This Vehicle is sold strictly as-shown and on a final as-is basis without any warranties expressed or implied due to age. All classic cars (even the most expensive) will require continual maintenance, service, and repair - often without warning. We have presented the Blazer accurately to the best of our ability, but oversights are possible. Therefore - before the auction's end - bidders are welcome to examine the vehicle in person. All sales are final. Please be sure to review ALL the images and ALL the captions because they relate important information too! Payment I accept the following forms of payment:
On Sep-09-17 at 21:38:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Note 1: To clarify the "One Owner 1987-2012" mentioned, the oral history is that the car was owned by a single family for that time, with a sale in 2003 to a cousin who had wanted the Blazer for some time. The current owner/restorer purchased it from that cousin in 2012. At the time of the sale in 2012, a family member related the story of the engine being replaced at 52,400 miles, with the replacement engine having less than 50,000 miles. |
