1966 impala, very original body....great Patina. This is a factorybig block 4 speed car. The body is in great shape, the hood was missing when I got it so I picked up a different one. The passenger fender has been replaced at some time in its life, a long time ago. the rest of the paint and panels are original. the trim, emblems, lenses are in greatoriginal shape. the vinyl top was pretty rough shape from sun and there was a little rust in corner of rear window channels. I cut out the metal and replaced the Dutchman's panel behind rear window and had a new top installed. the trunk floor has a couple rust holes right below that spot where the water leaked in and sat under the trunk mat. has factory tach. harness is in great shape under dash and under hood. the "idiot" lights work properly, the speedo works, wipers, heater/defroster, etc. The brakes were done before I got it a couple years ago and I had local suspension shop install new upper and lowertubular control arms, drag link, rear coil springs, shock absorbers and do a modern alignment. drives awesome. The motor is a 71 402 short block with the original 66 heads, I don't know much about it. Runs good. Had no trans or accessories when I got it.I installed a super T-10 with a hurst shift, along with these new parts, alternator, starter, radiator, belts, hoses, clamps, water pump, DUI HEI, fuel pump,750 holley, chrome brackets and pulleys, headers, 2.5 mandrel exhaust with flowmaster muffler, gas tank and sending unit... all NEW recently. The interior is in very nice shape, no tears in seats, headliner is new, carpet is good, I did install rear lap belts from my kids. I also have a complete new weather strip kit. I put new window felts in and the upperside window seals, the door seal are original but ill send the new ones with. Brake lights, tail lights, blinkers, etc.work. have the original radio too, I planned to send it out and have it restored. The dash pad is in awesome shape. the factory dash clock is missing, it mount on top of dash. I've been looking for one for awhile to reinstall. I did install a brand new tilt column (I'm tall) and used an original 65 corvette steering wheel I had stashed away.(looks perfect but its worth stupid money, lol). factory original 12 bolt with 3.31 gears. I used a set of 15" real period American Racing Torque Thrusts, NOT knock offs or repops. Ask any questions you may have or if you want specific pics or vids I can email or text them to you.
