Description of 1993 Chevrolet Corvette 40th Anniversay |
NO RESERVE on this 1993 Corvette 40th Anniversary Edition Coupe. I have owned the car for three years and have thoroughly enjoyed it but it's time to move on. The car runs and drives well and is a great 'driver' quality car. It may not be a low mileage, trophy winning show car but it turns heads every time I drive it and I am constantly asked about the unique color (only used in 40th and 50th anniversary models). 350 (5.7L) engine runs strong; automatic transmission shifts smoothly145,500 miles (average of 6,000 miles per year)Brakes, AC, Cruise, Power windows, mirrors and door locks all work as designedHigh end aftermarket AM/FM/CD/Navigation stereoBoth roof panels (painted and tinted moonroof) includedNitto NT555 tires are nearly new and shocks were replaced at the same timeNewly replaced, correct 40th anniversary wheel center piecesNEW OPTISPARK, ignition coil and control module The car was painted in 2016 with the correct Ruby Red 40th anniversary color (PPG paint used). Painted because the rear plastic bumper had faded. Painted the entire car to ensure consistent color match. The paint is about a 8.5 out of 10. There is one imperfection in the roof panel and some pin-head spots on the drivers door. The only issues are a finicky alarm system - I don't lock the doors in the garage and sometimes I can open the door and the alarm/horn will activate. Simply "unlocking" the unlocked door with the key turns the alarm off. Doesn't do it consistently so I just got in the habit of always unlocking the door with the key even if I know the doors are unlocked. The stereo is also finicky. It has a CD for the navigation system and sometimes it will work, sometimes it does not. There is a very specific sequence to getting the navigation CD to work (apparently an internal security feature that is more annoying than helpful). I emailed the factory who provided step-by-step instructions which I will provide with the car. If the navigation CD doesn't work, it DOES NOT hinder use of the radio or CD player. The car spent several years in Florida before I purchased it so the carpet is starting to fade and there are a few cracks in the leather seats (see pictures for detail). This car is sold as is, where is (Roanoke, VA) with no warranty and no refunds. The winning bidder will be responsible for local pick up or arranging for shipping. The winning bidder will pay $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auction end and remainder of payment via certified bank check or cash (in person) within 3 days of auction end. DO NOT bid if you do not have the funds available to purchase the car. |
