Description of 1986 Chevrolet G20 Van Conversion Van |
Very nice rare Classic 1986 Chevy G20 luxury van. Great for camping and weekend trips. Runs and looks great. Allphotos were taken on Tuesday, 09/26/2017. It has a built-in 60-Watt Solar Charging System and LED Lights that are connected to a lighting control panel, Cruise Control, Factory Tinted Glass, Tilt Steering, 4 Captain’s Chairs which tilt, rake and swivel, rear twin bed/couch that easily converts into an extremely comfortable KING SIZE 70”x90” MEMORY FOAM BED, two Central Removable Tables, Luggage Rack, Rear End Lift Kit, Under Bed Storage, and Above Bed Shelf. The Remote-Controlled Stereo has a built-in GPS Navigation System, Plays Movies, Connects to Smart-Phones, and Plays Music and Video from an SD Card or Thumb Drive. 50-liter V8 engine and Automatic Transmission. Runs and drives great, more like a car than a big van. Very comfortable vehicle. Body is straight. Tires are good. Interior is very clean. I purchased the van from my next-door neighbor and friend in 2014. He inherited it from his father who was the original owner. They both garaged and maintained the van extremely well. It passed smog with flying colors in 2014. The smog tech said the results were abnormally good for a 28-year-old vehicle. I am selling it because mywife and I just bought a brand new 24-foot RV . Some repairs/maintenance/upgrades that were made within the last 10,000 miles include: Transmission Rebuild at 82,392, Catalytic Converter replaced at 92,765, Starter replaced at 92,371, Brake Job at 92,765, All shocks replaced at 82,547, AC Condenser and Compressor replaced at 82,540. Carburetor was replaced at 67,375 miles. Minor issues include: The spare tire holder has a dent on the left side. AC not currently working (compressor and condenser replaced at 82,540 miles so it’s probably something minor), driver’s side door power window switch needs to be replaced, Driver’s side rear light cover is cracked, Tiny dent on Driver’s side rear corner(barely noticeable), some scratches on the center dash under the stereo, there is an oversized/thick computer DVD stuck in the player It happened once before. I will try and remove it again before the van is sold. If not, I will give you a credit towards repair. All other functions and modes work great. I don’t recommend inserting computer made CD’s or DVD’s because some are thicker than others. This van is great for weekend trips. My wife and Ihave camped at many local beaches and parks and have never had the battery go dead even with lights running most of the night and the radio running most of the day (when sunny). The bed is extremely comfortable for two people. Overall, whoever ends up with this van will be extremely satisfied as we have been. A bit too small for 2 people and 2 large German Shepherds. Other than having to leave the dogs with a sitter for trips, we have both been extremely happy with it.Sold as-isin used condition. Deposit of $1,500 via PayPal due within 24 hours. Remaining amount due in cash at time of pickup within 3 days. Thank you! |
