Up for your consideration is a 1954 Chevy Bel-Air survivor. I bought this car about 10 years ago from the original family that bought the car new in 1954. I was told the car still has its original paint, and from what I can tell that may be true. This car has the original 235 inline 6 engine with 59,000 original miles mated to a 3 speed on the column transmission. The engine runs very well and is still a 6 volt electrical system. The transmission shifts as it should. We replaced the master cylinder a few years back as well s the water pump. The brakes stop really well for manual hydraulic drum. The seats were rebuilt front and rear and new upholstery added, as well as carpet and headliner. All doors open and shut as they should with the exception of the driver rear door, the handle sticks. The driver door only opens from the outside. There are a few small dents and scratches around the car, remember this is a 60 year old car with original paint. Underneath the car is very nice with most of the original undercoating. There is very little rust on this car. As far as I can see there are just a few bubbles here and there, nothing underneath. I have driven this car from Ventura to Bakersfield a few times and had no problems. The radiator was rebuilt a few years back. I added 3 sets of seat belts in the rear for hauling my family, the 2 in the front are original. I have a clear CA title and the car is currently registered with CA legacy plates. This car is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Thank you for looking, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
