Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS |
1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, Park Hills, MO Investment Car Brokers #1 Impala Court, Park Hills, MO 63601 (573) 431-8022 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS
APPROXIMATELY 100 OF THESE 1969 ZL-1 MOTORS WERE EVER MADE, INCLUDING THE (69) PUT IN THE CAMAROS AND THE (2) PUT IN THE CORVETTES . This is not a Yenko 427 clone that you see commonly with a steel block that they made thousands and thousands of. This is an extremely rare all aluminum block 1969 ZL-1 427. Chevrolet made (69) Camaro ZL-1 cars in 1969 (one year only). These cars are approximately currently trading in the $600,000 - $1,000,000 range. Besides the (69) motors that they made for these Camaros, they made just (2) ZL-1 Corvettes this year. There were also a few warranty replacement and over the counter blocks that were sold, to total approximately 100. Many of these motors were raced and damaged, making this even a rarer find these days. These motors were factory rated at 430 horsepower, although dyno tests put them well over 525 horsepower. This motor has all of the correct original NOS components. Winters Foundry Snowflake Stamps and the correct casting numbers, etc. These forms of documentation are undisputed and unable to be manipulated. They confirm that this motor is real. This motor alone has been appraised at $100,000. Now along to the car build. This car is a recreation of car #54 of the (69) ZL-1 Camaros built. #54 was LeMans Blue with Rally wheels, Turbo 400 Automatic and a Deluxe Houndstooth interior. The entire car was restored with all GM N.O.S. METAL and components which made this a very expensive build. For example, the smog system alone was in the $10,000 range. These parts are next to impossible to find today no matter how big of wallet you carry. Check the casting numbers, etc. on the pictures. Options include the correct 15" wheels for the ZL-1 COPO optioned car and the correct 8,000 RPM tachometer. This car was finished around the first of 2005 and it looks like it was just freshly completed. For a car to look this fresh after that amount of time, proves how clean and unaltered the GM NOS sheet metal was to begin with. THIS IS AN IMPECCABLE "OVER-RESTORED (much nicer than they ever made them from the factory)" CAR USING ALL N.O.S. PANELS AND PARTS. The only aftermarket piece that is obvious to us is the black plastic spoiler under the front of the car. The undercarriage, axles and frame are finished in gloss black and are buffed and finished in the same quality as the top. It is breathtaking! Only approx. 75 miles have been put on this car since it has been finished and it is near perfect. This car is an investment opportunity that is most certain likely to appreciate while you enjoy ownership. THE 1969 ZL-1 427 IS THE "HOLY GRAIL" OF MUSCLE CAR ENGINES. THIS IS A VERY RARE OFFERING OF THE ULTIMATE CLASSIC GM MUSCLE CAR. Address: #1 Impala Court Park Hills, MO 63601 View Map
