Description of 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Oakland, California built 1956 Chevy 150 Utility Sedan 1211-B. I bought it in May 27, 2011 it had sat in a field in Fallen Nevada for 30 years. I rebuilt the front end with new upper and lower ball joints, new aframe bushings new idler arm bushings new front shocks, disc brakes and swiss cheesed the upper and lower aframes, new VintageHighjacker airshocks. I replaced most of the brake lines and fuel lines with new, rebuilt the master cylinder, wheel cylinders and new rear brake shoes, New front windshield and seal, all the side glass is new tinted glass with new vent glass seals, glass channels and fuzzys, original back glass with a new seal. It has a heater delete, heater motor delete, lighter delete, radio delete and clock delete. (All delete plates are original GM 1956 not reproduction) the only option areBackup Lights and a glove box light. The ashtray delete was removed and a compact 1979 Toyota AM/FM Stereo radio was installed in its place, The glove box door was alsomodified to take the place of the ashtray delete. The dash has not been drilled or altered in any way and can be returned to stock. it also has vintage Ansen traction bars that have been hot jet coated silver, 15x7 Crager SS wheels with Hurst cheater slicks on back and Vintage 15X4 Crager SS wheels and original PRO TRAC 5.60-15 tires up front, (front Crager SS wheels are early single bolt pattern, NOS PRO TRAC Tires are original not reproduction) original jack and spare tire (blue rim), new trunk mat, There is rust in the outer rockers and outer lower quarter panels and a little in the rear pan. Thefloors, trunk, inner rockers and floor braces are perfect. This car has never been wrecked and has the original Nassau blue paint. I installed a 327 with 202's, Comps cam, Hooker fenderwell headers, Mallery duel point distributor, Milodon oil pan,turbo mufflers, Mallery coil,vintage 1968sun tach, Wiend tunnel ram with 2 425 Holleys, It also has roller tip rocker arms, Corvette valve covers, a driveline loop, aluminum flywheel, Early Lakewood scattershield with inspection plate, new rebuilt 1961 Borg Warner T-10 4 speed, Hurst Competition Plus shifter with mickey Thompson shifter Handle. The rear end is a 57 chevy (it has a drain plug) with new axle bearings and new 513 posi gears in a P case. The bucket seats are original 57 Chevy Sedan Delivery seats, it has a new firewall pad and the clutch and brake pedals have been swiss cheesed, all the original wood and steel risers are in the cargo area with a new reproduction rubber mat. The battery is located in the trunk. Everything on the car works including speedometer, gauges, lights, dash lights, turn signels, horn, dome light and glove box light, Backup lights and Stereo Radio. Interior Trim for all Panels including kick panels and Package tray are original 55 Nomad (Some of the Nomad trim is modified). It has a main safety battery kill switch in front of passinger seat and also has a starter kill switch when you turn the steering column shift collar. Rear quarter windows are stationary they do not roll up or down, It still has the original T3 headlights, both inside visors, all headliner bows, the trunk emblem, bezel and V are new and a Chrome fire extingiture. This caralso comes with original inner fender wells, wiper motor, glove box door and ashtry delete that are not shown.
I drove this 56 to Pahrump, NV. about 6 months ago and put it up on jack stands, it ran perfect with the 513's at about 55 milesan hour.
