Description of 1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

1955 Chevrolet 3100 Shortbed with big back window. Original straight 6 engine and 4 speed manual
transmission. Excellent driver. Runs, drives and stops great. Has power disk brakes. Paint job looks good
from 20 feet. The painters did good on the truck cab but got lazy on the bed. Dents in the right rear
fender. Sand marks on the bed. Has some bondo used to smooth the truck out. The interior paint is a
slightly lighter shade of blue than the outside blue paint. The floorboards have two 4x4 fiber glass
patches. Wood is an amateur job but looks nice. Stained and high gloss varnished. One plank isn't
spaced right. Could bother someone with OCD. Brand new bench seat. Window regular on driver side
goes down easy but requires a special two hand technique to get it back up. Headlights don't work. Radio
is original but is not hooked up. This is a very solid base and would make a great driver you don't have to
worry about or an easy project to take to the next level. You can daily drive this truck as-is (except at
night. Have to fix headlights first). This is a nice truck at a great price. Classic trucks are only going up in
value. A good investment and a fun toy. This 3100 gets tons of looks, waves, smiles and thumbs up. Hard to find a better truck for the money.
