Description of 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe |
My dad bought this car in 1973 and I took over 'management' in 2007. After a lot of thought, I decided to sell this beautiful car. I've had quite a bit of restoration (resto-mod?) done to the mechanical components (details listed below and total over $60k) but tried to keep the interior and exterior look as original as possible. I used this as a daily driver for a year after the mechanical upgrades were complete. Original Options include power steering, Factory A/C, T-Top, L48, 4 speed Muncie transmission. The paint is original as well. You can see from the pics there are some defects in the paint. I put in a new 383 cu in Stroker Motor in 2010. The engine is from Golen Engine Service and has 512HP and 490 ft lb torque. Link with all the specs and details below. I have the dyno sheet to show more details of the HP and torque curves. More info available on motor if you google golen engine service. I have the original numbers matching short block (w/oil pan) if you are so inclined. Miles on original engine 53k, current miles 60573. I also installed a Richmond Gear 5 Speed Super Street transmission but have the original Muncie as well.
