Description of 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport (clone) |
Up For sale is my Beautiful 1967 Chevelle SS Big Block. 4 spd. Clone. This 67 Chevelle has been through an intense Frame off Restoration where the frame was complete removed. Stripped. Blasted and coated with Primer and Black frame paint. All suspension was rebuilt with new components and bushings. The body was bought out of California and shipped to New England where the restoration took place. The Restoration took just over 3 years and it shows as you walk around this Gorgeous piece of Chevy history. The body on the chevelle was in such good shape that the floor pans are the originals that were welded in on GMs assembly line. This was a great california car that we stripped all the way down and spent our time putting back together. I have photos along the way for any serious buyers and they will go with the car. Now for the heart of this SS clone. The big 454. The big block was taken apart and built for performance but built to run on pump gas. The engine builder says she is good for 565 HP. It has a nice hard cam but still mild and friendly enough for street driving. However it is a handfull when you crack the Throttle. The big block is backed with a Borg Warner 4 speed and a 12 bolt rear end with 3:31 gears. Very nice and very reliable street machine. The interior is all new and all fresh and compliments the Black Cherry Base Coat Clear Coat paint beautifully. As far as the paint goes. weeks if not solid months were spent blocking the body for perfection before it was shot with Duponts top of the line Base coat. clear coat paint. After the paint was laid a full week of wet sanding and buff time was put in to insure the Chevelle looked as though it was dipped in clear. This is a Beautiful Super Sport clone that has a top to bottom job done. For any other questions. Please feel free to call Randy @ 802-254-8049 or send an email. |
