The original Owner’s Manual & Original Owner Service Policy book is still with this car from day 1 with the original owner’s name and the dealership where it was sold new. This car was sold new at Bill Fray Chevrolet in New Castle. PA on June 19th. 1957. This car was owned and by the first owner and his son from day one up until about 2 years ago and was kept original the whole time! This car maintains most of it original Onyx Black Paint and it is in show quality condition. The body is an all original no hit body with a factory fit and finish. The interior is in excellent condition. All the gauges work great as does the clock! The original shifter is in place. The original red door panels are in excellent condition as are the seats. Under the hood is the original 283ci 220hp engine. The transmission and rear end are #’s matching original. This is a radio delete car which will explain the absence of the chrome shielding over the distributor. The original copper radiator & original windshield washer bottle are in the engine compartment. The frame is solid original rust free frame with stencil marks. Inside the truck compartment are the original jack tools and a spare tire with the original board and mat. There are 4 brand new wide white bias ply tires and a new black convertible soft top on the car. The hardtop is in excellent condition and is dated. there is a picture below of the date on the rear glass. This car has all its original LOF glass. All the chrome is in excellent condition.
