Hey everyone. It would appear that the time has finally come to sell one of my baby's. It's about time I start the restoration of my Camaro, and I'm running out of room.

This Chevelle blows me away every time I sit in it, it's like a time capsule of late '60s engineering and design. It has been estimated that there are about 500 '70 Chevelle hardtop sedans remaining on the road today. This car has been the absolute perfect cruiser. It runs great and the ride is nice and smooth. I pretty much took her out on every nice day that I could. My Camaro is loud and obnoxious, so it was always a treat to hop into the Chevelle, throw on some classic rock and enjoy a relaxing drive with all the windows down. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, it has never once failed me.

• There isn't a single dent on the sheet metal, it is very straight. The chrome is in good shape, as well as the glass.

• The interior is in great shape. The vinyl is mint, no rips or tears. The dash pad has two cracks down the center (see pics) it's been like that since I bought it - never was a concern. EVERYTHING works - lights, radio, wipers, cigaratte lighter, etc. There is a Kenwood stereo with CD player and AUX input. Blaupunkt 6x9 speakers in the rear deck. Interior is a 9/10

• Pop open the hood and you will immediately be able to tell that this is not a car that has been tampered with. No wires thrown about, no questionable "modifications" to discover. It's nearly original.

• The floors and trunk are completely solid, they have been coated with POR-15 followed by a topcoat. There is a little bit of exposed surface rust at the bottom of the driver's door, but no rot. There are a few spots here and there, but nothing terrible. It has been repainted the original color by the previous owner. They did a nice job, the paint was layed down flat and the metallics were sprayed evenly. The paint absolutely glistens in the sunlight, there's probably about 3 or 4 layers of paint sealant on her. I'm a detailer, so I always go nuts on my cars. I'd give the exterior a 7.5 - 8/10 only because of the small rust spots (bottom of doors and under vinyl top trim, see pics).

• Engine runs strong. It's obviously not a monster, but it runs well. Still has factory exhaust manifolds, and I believe the rest of the exhaust is the original single outlet piping. There's a small leak by the tailpipe, but the car is still very quiet which is how I wanted it to be. Transmission shifts perfectly. Open rear differential. No strange noises from anywhere in the drivetrain.

NEW PARTS (last 1000 miles)

• Ball Joints

• Rear shocks

• Tie rod ends and adjusting sleeves

• Sway Bar End Links

• Hoses

• Brakes, hardware, and wheel cylinders

• Wheel bearings and races

• Ignition (breaker points, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor)

The ONLY thing I would say it needs is a new set of tires. It has some dry rot where the tread meets the sidewall. Despite that, I have been driving it with these tires for almost 4 years now, but I feel it's necessary to disclose. The 14" American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are in good shape.

To say this car is just a "good driver" is an understatement. Drive it everywhere as-is and it will still be one of the cleanest unmolested ~50 year old vehicles on the road. This Chevelle turns heads everywhere. If you seek absolute perfection for this car, it wouldn't take much at all to get it there, and they sell for about $14,000+ in that condition. The only other small picky things keeping it from being perfect: Driver's mirror is pitted. Dent on right side of rear bumper. Cracks in dash pad. Plus the other couple of things mentioned above. This car was appraised at $10,000.

If I had a bigger garage, I would keep her. But the time has come to give my family owned Camaro the love it needs, so she should really go. That said, I don't NEED to sell her, and I will hold on to her if needbe.

Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. If you would like to come check it out in person, feel free to send me a message and we can set up a time to meet. Please ask any and all questions you may have.

BE SURE YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY 100% READY AND ABLE TO PAY FOR THIS ITEM.

Thank you and good luck!
