Description of 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

This car is my pride and joy. I have been working a long time to own such a cool piece of american history, but unfortunately other things have come up and a limited amount of winter storage is forcing the sale .
over 20k invested have many receipts.
pro built roller 454 with edelbock top end - have dyno sheets 500hp, 500+ lbft of torque. runs very very strong. serpentine drive belt system, headers, dual exhaust, new perf. clutch etc. super fun to drive, but almost dangerous as it will be sideways through the first 3 gears .
4 speed transmission. think the guy said it was a muncie or super t 10. not for sure, but it shifts great and is tight.. 12 bolt posi rearend .
factory cowl induction hood that works. new cowl air cleaner assembly in trunk.
frame and floors look good, interior looks very good with bucket seats and nice door panels. headliner has tear . needs speedometercable as well.
body and paint in my opinion are where the car could use some help. Most people say it looks good(just drove it the other day and got 5 compliments some even from cute young ladies ) -but myselfbeing a x-bodyman i dont agree. In my opinion the car is a good 20 footer at best.
I personally was going to redo the quarter panels mainly because they just arent right- look new(but are wavey). The doors could use some blocking to get them straightener, the fenders, hood and decklid along with roof look pretty good but need some cosmetics as well to take this car to the next level. a few odds and ends and a new body rubber kit would be needed after paint. I have all new inner and outer door handles and gaskets included in trunk. alsoi have new bumpers i will include . ask any questions. this would make a great winter project to take to the next level or drive as-is . The driveline alone is all the right stuff a that a chevy guy would dream of. all receiptsand dyno sheets come with it and a clean reg/title in my name . thanks - i can arrange delivery but you pay for it . deposit due within 24 hr, cash preferred- that how i paid for it when i bought it and thats what i want back if possible. any questions please ask.
