1971 GMC Sprint, this is the same as an El Camino except with GMC badging. The SP was GMC version of Chevys SS. This is the first year of the GMC Sprint. There are fewer of these vehicles of coarse. It is a 1971 GMC Sprint Custom, 12 bolt rear end, power steering, front power brakes disk brakes, 350 engine. Bucket seats, horseshoe shifter. The same as a SS. This GMC was manufactured in Van Nuys California and has been a California car, no rust. It has been in the family for 10 years. Older paint job. Runs good, starts on the first try. Uncertain of the mileage. Transmission shifts perfect. Polyurethane bushings, front end is tight and steers well. New door panels, the arm rest with new pads and handles have been installed. I drive this car a few 100 miles a month. It has been rewired, newer 295 50 15 tires on the rear, 235 60 15 tires on the front. The rear tires are wide. All of the fluids have been changed regularly and are clean. Headers and dual Flowmaster'sexhaust. Has a nice rumble that only a true American car can have, that get compliments often. Electronic ignition, HEI. Chrome dress up kit. Edelbrockcarburetor, Edelbrock intake, aluminum radiator, transmission cooler.
