Description of 1965 Chevrolet C-10 |
For Sale : 1965 Chevrolet C-10 Custom short bed, big back window, air ride. "Allicat" Truck was professionally built by Street Machinery in Ohio and completed in 2016. I purchased the truck from the owner who bought it after the build was completed and drove it home to New Jersey from Ohio. Body is straight and has a custom paint/airbrush job which people always mistake as real rust. Many, many parts are brand new and will be listed below and i'm sure I will forget some. If you don't see a part listed there's a good chance it was replaced with new or feel free to ask. Air ride system works beautifully and the switches are hidden under the dashboard and allow you to control each corner individually. The gauges for the air ride are located on the dashboard showing pressure for each bag. The air tank and Viair compressor are hidden underneath the bed. The front end was converted to a later model C10 with the heavy duty disc brakes (drums in the rear). Truck has rare options like the short bed, big back window and dealer installed reverse lights. The truck has approximately 6,000 miles and is stored in a climate controlled garage. It needs nothing but a new owner, fires up every time and cruises on the highway at 70/75 MPH with no problem thanks to the rebuilt 700R4 overdrive transmission. I'm selling to move onto a new project, feel free to call with questions etc. I recently changed the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic oil, greased the suspension components and chassis. I also have a walk around video clip of the truck while its running I can send as well. The coolant temp gauge is original and with all the modern components it always reads hot, which is incorrect. Also it could use a new turn signal switch in the column. It works as it should but one of the cams should be replaced. - I'm more than happy to send more pictures and I have a walk around video as well, and answer any questions you may have.-I purchased the truck with a USAA bank classic car laon, which will be paid off in order to release the title. There is no BS here I will sign any document you want to draft up, i'm certainly not losing my pension and career over selling this truck. Im selling because I want to get into a modern muscle car. -vehicle is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied-buyer is responsible for shipping, i can assist with loading.-$1,000 deposit is due with in 48hrs of auction close-paypal is fine for deposit, but not for vehicle payment-payment must clear before truck leaves my house Under the hood: GM 350 crate motor (approx 6,000 miles) oil/filter just changed with mobil 1 Rebuilt 700R4 transmission Edelbrock performer intake/carburetor with electric choke/ carb spacer New fuel lines Billet oval air cleaner Adjustable billet coolant neck Black cylinder head covers with "Chevrolet" in silver Sanderson exhaust headers Custom exhaust with pypes mufflers Electric radiator fan New power steering set up New heater core New coolant hoses New alternator New brake master cylinder, lines, and proportioning valve New inner fenders New brake lines Interior: New bench seat foam / upholstery New carpet New trim New glovebox liner New dome light with door pin switch New chrome bowtie sill plates New front/rear glass rubber and side window felt New fuel gauge Tachometer added to gauge cluster New door arm pads Exterior: New front turn signal lenses New rear tail light lenses New headlights Custom patina paint job with air brush work Body work completed OEM mirror and radio antenna holes filled and flushed Most parts like bumpers, and the "custom" side badging was made to look distressed 1966 C10 side badges used instead of correct 1965 ones Firestone air bags Viair compressor Air bag switches hidden under dashboard New front drop spindles New shocks specific for lowered trucks Small c-notch in frame over rear axle Rear lowering blocks On Nov-08-17 at 17:31:34 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention the wiring harness was re-done and all electronics work as they should, wipers, gauges, dome light, 12v cigarette light etc. |
