Description of 1983 Chevrolet Blazer K5

This is a good running K5 Blazer. It has a 350 engine with a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor. Has 4 wheel drive with high and low gears. A 3 speed with overdrive transmission. This Blazer shifts into all 4 gears quite well and goes in and out of 4 wheel drive smoothly. Locking hubs. 31x10. 50 R15 radial sxt mud terrain tires with very good tread. a windshield that was just replaced in Oct. of 2014. Also. has a new rear window cranking mechanism. All of the windows work well and the doors close properly. Included is an extra tilting steering column that could be installed. The body is overall quite straight however there is a dent in the drivers side front fender. I don't know a lot about this vehicle as I obtained it in a trade. I did drive it from Denver to the western slope of Co. . some 250 miles. It had good power and drove well over the mountain passes. I made the trade in late Nov. and have started it on a regular basis. Even in cold weather it starts quite easily. The heater doesn't blow real warm air but it gets up to engine temp. normally and does not fluctuate. also there is no sign of leaking of the heater core so I believe the heater core needs flushed out. Also the wipers do not work and after some investigation I found the female contact on one side on the fuse block to be broken. There is a spot of rust behind the drivers side rear wheel. Also a hole behind the passenger side front wheel. There is another small dent in the flashing between the rear bumper and the body. Some of the side trim and K5 emblems are missing. The dash is cracked and has had speakers mounted in it. The factory radio it missing as well as the glove box latch and the console latch missing. The drivers seat is worn with holes and cracks but the passenger seat and rear seat are it pretty good shape. There are some small hail dings on the hood. All in all this would be a good 4 wheeler or a good truck for complete restoration. It has very little rust issues on the undercarriage.
