Description of 1985 Chevrolet Caprice |
This is a 1985 Chevy Caprice 2 dr. Landau Coupe with 160. 00 original Kilometers (99. 00 miles). It has a 305ci V8 engine and automatic transmission. The car runs and drives very well. Transmission shifts nicely. brakes work well. steering is responsive. The exterior of the car shows it's original color combination. The trunk lid shows signs of having been repainted at one time. The vehicle does not have any major body or structural rust. the only rust issue I could see is on the bottom of the passenger door (see the last photo). There are some spots of superficial rust here and there. This would be an easy restoration as the body is in need of only minor bodywork and a paint job. Other minor issues include wiper motor needs to be replaced. driver side power window not working. I have collected all the little parts and pieces that will be needed to restore the car and they will be included with the sale. Please e-mail me with any other important questions you may have before bidding. The car is located in Kelowna BC V1W4L1. It is about a 2 hour drive to the border (Hwy 395 Washington State). It can be transported across by the shipper of your choice or can be picked up and driven. As stated the car is in good running condition but please don't ask me if it will make a long trip home without problems as it is a 30 year old car and I can not predict what might happen. My reserve is quite low for a car such as this with only 99. 00 miles & a very good vehicle history report. and does take into consideration that it will need a paint job to make it really nice. The auction is in US dollars so if you are from Canada and you are the winning bidder please remember this. I have also added a "Buy it Now" price of $2500 to give serious buyers the ability to purchase the car if you don't want to risk having to outbid someone else near the end of the auction. I require the winning bidder to pay a deposit of $500 within 24 hours from the time the auction ends. No exceptions. If this does not work for you please don't bid on the car. Thanks. |
