Description of 1973 Chevrolet Corvette |
This beautiful 73 Chevrolet Corvette went through an extensive restoration from 2014-2016. I enjoyed the car for almost 2 years driving her to shows and weekend cruise-ins. I bought a C7 Z06 and with a heavy heart I must let her go to a new owner. The entire build was documented with photos and receipts broken down to areas. Engine, body and paint, suspensio, steering and brakes, last but not least interior. I am going to break down the build in these categories.I have sold a few cars on Ebay over the past 5 years and all the buyers were very happy. Please look at my feedback and bid with confidence I have videos of the car upon request and can be reached through email, Text or if you prefer to speak over the phone don'thesitate to reach out if the have any questions.(502) 938-5339 FYI there are many more pictures if you scroll down. PAINT and BODY: Artic white (current C7 paint color) was chosen to show off the Stingray lines. The paint is flawless and is a 9 show quality. The only reason I don'tgive it a 10 is because I consider a 10 to be Concourse quality and this is a 12 Thousand dollar paint job not 30K. There are NO scratches or rock chips anywhere. No orange peel, waves or any inconsistencies. It looks as good as my new C7 Z06 sitting right next to it and they are the same color! Engine and Trans: We chose Bluepoint for our Engine. The Warranty is fantastic with 30 month/ 50 Thousand miles! Motor is dated 05/16 so lots of warranty left. This motor has close to 700 miles and is just broke in. Below are the specs from Blueprint Engines. Edelbrock intake, Holley 700 DP, HEI Ignition.I have all the Dyno print outs from the break in period.Transmission is a totally rebuilt M21 Rockcrusher 4spd that shifts so nice and tight. Once you shift it you won'twant to stop! This car is fast and a total blast to drive. Its agile and the motor just keeps on giving. Engine Part #: BP38313CT1 DESCRIPTION:
INTERIOR and ELECTRICALThe Interior is like the rest of the car with just about every piece replaced. The LEATHER seats feel great and really give the car a high quality touch. All gauges in the center console are new and yes the clock works perfect. The original manual cable tachometer was replaced with a new electronic tachometer with the new ignition system. The pop up headlights retain the vacuum system and every part has been replaced. they work flawlessly and snap to attention at the pull of the switch. I have two steering wheels for the car. the C2 wooden wheel is in the car and I have the original 73 3 spoke wheel that was fully restored. I will include both with the car. All interior andexterior lights work perfectly. The courtesylight in the center rear compartment even works. Air Conditioning blows nice and cold. The heat works great too. The stereo system was not overlooked. A Ken Harrison KHE-100 was installed with 5 Boston Acousticspeakers. The system sounds awesome! The more I write about my 73 the harder it is to sell this car. Take the T-Tops out get your favorite tunes on and feeling that 425hp in front of the 4spd is truly exhilarating and a pleasure. |
