Up for auction at no reserve is a a rare 1948 Chevy Suburban. It is an unfinished project with a chop top a built 454 engine and a 350 Turbo transmission. It is sitting on a 1972 Chevy Truck SWB chassis with power steering, new power disc brakes up front and a 12 bolt posi traction rear end. It has a nice set of Boyd Coddington Wheels and tires, headers, flowmasters and a Griffin aluminum radiator. The engine has forged TRW Pistons, speed pro ring set and a Comp Cam Magnum 280H series cam. So when you crank this thing up heads will turn as there is no mistaking that big block sound. It still has the original wood floor in back and remnants of the original rubber mat. The front fenders and running boards are nice metal and the rear fenders are fiberglass. The body is very straight but need some minor finishing before being ready to paint. It is currently in DP90 Primer. I don't think there is any metal work to do but it still needs side glass and rear door glass. Or you could make it a really cool panel truck. Please let me know if you have questions or need pictures of something specific and I will send them to you. This could be your easy winter project, finish it your way and have and have a really cool truck next summer.
I will assist with shipping and can hold it indoors for a reasonable about of time. $500 due through paypal within 24 hours following the auction and I ask that the winning bidder contact me as well. Thanks for looking and good luck!
