FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION I have for sale a rock solid 1930 Chevrolet Coupe. I did this car to keep for myself, but have decided to sell. The car was restored a few years ago and looks and ran great, but up close the paint was speckled. I took the paint off down to bare metal and found a body that was unbelievable solid. All the panels look to be original, no dents, just a couple of filled dings. "Look at the pictures of the bare metal". It looked like the primer had broken down. I repainted with PPG products and the car looks great. VIN: The original VIN tag is in place and readable. Its in a odd place under the mat on the passengers side. HOW MANY MILES ON THE CAR? It is reading 12,985, but I don't have a clue on how many it really has. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is the original inline 6 cylinder with overhead valves. It runs very good, I hear no knocks, no pings and see no blue smoke. It does leave some drops on a clean floor, that's just the way old technology engines are. Pass owner said it had less than 200 miles since rebuilding. I did repaint it to make it look fresh. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 3 speed manual that shifts good for the day. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider the paint very good, I painted every thing other than the fire wall. HOW IS THE CHROME? All the chrome is nice and shinny. HOW IS THE GLASS? No cracks, no milky areas, windows roll up and down decent. windshield rolls up easy for ventilation. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? No new, but good. The floor mat has some cracks on the edges. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHT WORKS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! HORN WORKS, BUT IS A LITTE SLOW! NEED WIPER ARM! GAS GUAGE WORKS$ HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It drive good for a 1930 model, no bad shake or shimmy. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? I consider them very good, the parking brake does work! HOW ARE THE TIRES? I put 5 new Firestone wide white walls on with new tubes and liners. CAR DOES HAVE the optional heater, the blow motor is bad. WHAT YOUR BUYING IS A ROCK SOLID CAR THAT LOOKS GOOD AND DRIVES GOOD. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. CONTACT: Ron Watson phone 423=506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com
