Before i begin the description of the car for those buying a collector car or who is a car guy in general i'm going to give you some back ground on this car so you can get a good feel of what you are buying i've sold quite a few cars here and i want each of us to feel good about your purchase as well as myself knowing you're happy.... Now About the car well the pictures speak for its self a tremendous amount of time effort and money went into this restoration over the last 10 months paying attention to detail and quality work as in the past the cars that Ive restored have have all been works of art and all of the new owners have been totally happy with there new investment as i'm sure this Camaro will be!!! we have truly enjoyed this restoration Ive found that a quality car begins with a sound base i found this car in Stockton, California 11 months ago i don't know how many owners it has had but the person i purchased it from had owned it since the late 90's it was in a storage barn since 2007 because of fuel problems and in need of multiple minor repairs. it was delivered to my shop with its California blue plate which the previous owner let me keep. i had never seen the car in person only talked to the owner and he sent me many pictures of the car before i decide to make it our next Restoration. When the car came the engine was not in running condition he had told me he had fuel issues and that was the main reason for him to park the car. but i could tell it was something simple i was very happy with all the sheet metal on the car when it arrived, as you can see in the photos the car has all its original body panels! The drivers side door had a dent in it but was easily repaired and the urethane nose was replaced along with boththe grilles and trim. The interior has been completely restored it has its original door panels and dash but every thing is new. i removed the engine and replaced the clutch and all the bearings in the transmission, alsoi'll mention this Camaro has the original shifter and transmission, and rear end. While the engine was out we updated the camshaft with a mild hydraulic performance which resembles the same lift and duration as LT1 engine in the Z28's one which really pulls well we also added the LT1 air cleaner and valve covers with the engine upgrade the car still has its original smog pump and all its tubing we installed replacement stock dual exhaust. The rear end was opened up for inspection and is a non posi differential and is in excellent condition. all the brakes have been gone thru and new master cylinder and vacuum booster installed all the brake lines are original and all the rubber hose in the system replaced. The 15 inch ralley wheels where added it originally came with 14 inch ralleys it has brand new T/A radials all the way around. This LT Camaro is a 70's American road car. Take note to all the panel alignment in the photos, all the doors windows and trunk, seal and align perfectly. no wind whistling or rattles in this car i should mention here that the rubber body mounts are original and are still in excellent shape all these small things make this car very nice. the fact that it retains most of its originality means a lot to an investment! these split bumper original Camaro's are retaining there value year after year although this Camaro may not be a 100 point concourse car it is definitely top shelf and is a beautiful representation of a GM road performance car !
